I am of the impression the 650 had a 2 cylinder Yanmar engine...a 3 cylinder may not work for you.
Why can't you rebuild the original engine? ....

As a follow up to my previous post...
Yanmar deisel engines are pretty popular for medium sized sailboats (30'-50'). You might try some marine suppliers. ....
